Activity Description

- Provide specific suggestions for therapy interventions that can be implemented with a student with Asperger's Syndrome
- Explain the importance of and describe specific visual supports that can be effective tools for students with Asperger's Syndrome
Author Biography
Timothy P. Kowalski, M.A., CCC-SLP, has a speech-language pathology practice in Winter Park, Florida. He has extensive experience in treating individuals within the autistic spectrum and has spoken extensively on this topic nationally and internationally. In addition to treating individuals in his office, he also provides consultation to academic facilities for children with developmental and autistic spectrum disabilities in both inclusive and self-contained settings. He was named "TEAMS 2000 Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year" for his work with autism in the four-county greater Orlando region.
