Each course contains specific learning objectives along with a Learner Assessment to ensure
that you obtain the most out of our CE courses.

Course length is reported differently by ASHA and CASLPA. ASHA uses the internationally
recognized Continuing Education Unit (CEU) as the standard unit of measuring participation
in a continuing education course. One (1.0) CEU is defined as 10 hours of participation
in coursework. Therefore, a single hour of participation in a course is equal to 0.1 CEUs.
CASLPA’s Continuing Education Equivalent (CEE) is based on clock hours; a 1 hour course is
equal to 1 CEE.

No. Anyone can earn the the CEUs offered with all of our CE courses. Participants who are
neither ASHA members nor ASHA certificate holders and wish to complete our continuing
education courses can print a certificate upon completion for their personal records. (For
more information regarding ASHA CE requirements or the ASHA CE Registry, you may contact
ASHA at 800-498-2071, ext. 4219.)

No. LinguiSystems will correspond with ASHA within six weeks of your completion date and
send all necessary paperwork to them.
|

|
ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) If you are a member of the ASHA
CE registry and would like LinguiSystems to report your CEUs, you must provide us with your
ASHA number. Without your ASHA number, you will not receive CEU credit from ASHA.
CASLPA (Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists) CASLPA
accepts the LinguiSystems completion certificate as proof of completion of CEEs. You are
responsible for sending proof of CEEs when audited by CASLPA. If you would like additional

We always suggest you contact your state directly to be sure they will accept the courses.
We have found that most states accept our courses due to our status as an ASHA-approved
provider. Every certificate you will receive from LinguiSystems will contain the ASHA Approved
Continuing Education Provider logo.

Yes. Once you register for a course you can print any or all pages for your reference.

Anytime! That’s why it is so convenient. You pick a time that works for you. You can
complete a course in one sitting or sign in and out as often as you’d like. Since the sessions
are in a PDF format, you can save any presentation and forms to your desktop or hard drive
and come back to them if you need to.

Your assessment will be graded within 24 hours of the time you submit it. If you submit an
assessment on a holiday or weekend, your assessment will be graded the next business day.

It’s easy! Once you log-in, just click on the My Courses tab to view the
courses you have enrolled in and/or completed.

We do not have an un-enroll option for courses. However, enrolling in a course does not
obligate you to take the course. In fact, you are welcome to browse course materials for all
courses we offer without ever taking an assessment.

The courses are available online for a minimum of 3 years. During that time, you may
complete as many courses as desired, but you cannot participate in a course more than once.
|

The CEUs are free but you’ll need to buy the Source® title if you don’t already own the book.
The cost of our Source® books ranges from $41.95 to $43.95, depending on the title, and we
offer same-day, free shipping.

No! We based our Source®Courses on four of our best-selling Source® books knowing that
many of you already own them or have access to them. Simply take the online assessment to
earn your free CEUs.

|
|
|
The facilitator is the contact person for your school, district, clinic, etc. This contact will receive
documents via e-mail and will receive Product Preview materials if you have ten or more SLPs
attending. The facilitator’s responsibilities will include:
- Distributing the paperwork during the in-service
- Returning the paperwork to LinguiSystems at the conclusion of the program
- Returning the product display (we will provide a pre-paid UPS return label)

The Mini Look & Learn™ programs are designed for groups of five or more participants
because group discussion is required by ASHA. Our online courses and Source®Courses are
suggested for individuals or groups consisting of less than five.

No. We require 30 days notice for a Mini Look & Learn™ so we can adequately prepare for
your program.
