Test Purpose
You'll identify young children that are acquiring language at a significantly delayed pace and determine if there is a significant discrepancy between receptive and expressive processes of emergent language with the REEL 3.

Test Procedure
Because the results are obtained from caregiver interview, the first step is to select the informant.  Testing begins with an entry point that corresponds to the child's age.  Basals and ceilings are obtained for both subtests.


Examiner Qualifications
The test may be administered by anyone who is reasonably competent in the administration of tests in the fields of education, language, and psychology.
