Assess your students' ability to meet the demand of classroom discourse.
Learn how effectively a student integrates cognitive, linguistic, and pragmatic components to deal with the full range of adult-child exchanges. You'll compare a student's receptive and expressive discourse skills across four levels of abstraction, identify pragmatic behaviors that interfere with effective communication, and assess discourse ability in students who have minimal or no expressive language.
