LinguiSystems Articulation Test

  • 1800 Subjects
  • Study Date: March - May 2010
  • Ages: 3-0 through 8-11 years

All Examiners must have

  • A Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Access to the Internet and a printer. Examiners print the test forms and enter test results on this website
  • Read and agreed to the Test Examiner and Subject Criteria Agreements
  • No more than five active subjects at one time
  • Residency in the United States

List degree and major (e.g., M.A.-Speech-Language Pathology) on the registration form.  You will also need to enter your ASHA, State Licensure information, or teaching certification information to register.

Tips for Recruiting Subjects

  • Siblings and friends of children on your caseload
  • Family members and their friends
  • Community organizations: Boy/Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc.
  • Team organizations: sports, dance, cheerleading, quiz bowl, etc.
  • Summer camps: basketball, soccer, 4-H, computer, etc.
  • Church youth groups, choirs, etc.
  • Sorority, fraternity, philanthropic and cultural groups (e.g., National Council of La Raza, League of United Latin American Citizens, Thurgood Marshall Club, etc.)

Communication to Test Examiners

As a registered test examiner, you will receive emails when we announce new test opportunities. Spam blockers often block our emails, particularly if you use a school or business email address. Examiner Compensation

  • $75 product credit for EACH subject completed (and used in the standardization study)
  • Credit is redeemable after the study closes (expected date: June 2010)
  • Acknowledgement in the Examiner's Manual
  • A FREE copy of the test to test examiners completing 5 or more subjects

The LinguiSystems Articulation Test takes approximately 20-30 minutes to administer.

Product credit MAY NOT be used in combination with other offers (e.g., web specials, convention discounts). Test credits expire one year from the date the test is published (anticipated publication date: August 2010).

Subjects are not compensated by LinguiSystems.

Expressive Language Test 2

  • 1500 Subjects
  • Study Dates: September 2009 - November 30, 2009
  • Ages: 5-0 through 11-11 years

Please Note: Each subject is allowed to participate ONE time ONLY. Any subject tested more than once will be eliminated from the study (exception: test-retest reliability subjects).

Race/Ethnicity Data Collection

LinguiSystems has updated its method of collecting race and ethnicity data to more closely reflect the U.S. Census Bureau and federal guidelines on collecting data.

Race

  • American Indian or Alaska Native: A person having origins in any of the original peoples of North and South America (including Central America), and who maintains tribal affiliation or community attachment
  • Asian: A person having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam
  • Black or African American: A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa
  • Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander: A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, or other Pacific Islands
  • White: A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa

Ethnicity

  • Hispanic or Latino: A person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race. The term "Spanish origin" can be used in addition to Hispanic or Latino.
